Real Dog Equipment is a family business.

Nigel & myself (Rose) have had a passion for Sled dogs for over 20 years & are lucky enough to beable to share our love of our dogs & our experiences with everyone.

Importantly every item we sell has been rigorously tested on our own dogs.

We live in the South Island in new Zealand on a 25 acre farmlet in Otago.

We have a the largest kennel of Alaskan Malamutes in the Southern Hemisphere that we breed, show & most importantly work & race in harness.

I am always keen to develop new ideas for equipment,  so if you have one to share I am interested :)
