Shepherds Whistle = commonly used for clearly communicating a variety of commands over long distances from master to dog.
These whistles are hand made in NZ by the Village Blacksmith, made form recycled soup spoons which are an EPNS metal ( EPNS: Electroplated nickel silver, commonly known as "EPNS", is an alloy of nickel, copper, and zinc that's covered with a layer of pure silver in an electrochemical process.
Each spoon/whistle is tested to produce a good, loud, clear sound when blown.

They come with a generous loop of black 3mm marine grade spectra ( no rotting) tied securely.
